Apex calmed down now and also headed over to the bar, Apex never drank but it would make him look less conspicuous. Plus there was nothing he could really do since he wanted to catch Darksied off guard, he would just have to wait and see what happened. Apex sat near a dark haired woman with glasses, one whom had a mischievous look in her eyes like that of a child...or a cat. Apex was feeling uneasy around the woman a decided to find another place to sit and was going to move towards the other end of the bar when he noticed Justin near the end he wanted to move to, so Apex acquiesced to the will of God and sat back down next to Cheshire.
Just then Apex felt something on his shoulder it was the hand of a young man, one who was very inebriated as a matter if fact. This filth disgust me, O' Lord, why should you test me so? Apex thought. It was pretty sad that he was so far gone, this club was supposed to be chic and highbrow, not a place for people to drink away thier sense. As the man rambled on about how Batman doesn't even wear a mask- or is that superman? Anyway, the man was explaining in drooled words that it should be obvious who he is or something just as ridiculous. As he did this Apex tried to maintain his composure, but then it happened; the young man emptied the entire contents of his stomach into Apex's lap. That was the straw that broke the camel's back, and this was one pissed camel. Apex's hands began to glow white with energy and he struck the man sending flying a few yards and into a group of dancers. The man would live, but he'd have a pretty gross scare on his chest. Feel The wrath of God! Apex proclaimed.

Mia sat the glass down, eyeing the bartender. She asked for a shot, not caring what he put in there. She downed it, mostly to calm her nerves a little, letting it burn as it went down, knowing full well that if Ollie ever, ever found out about her drinking, he'd have her head; especially with her medication. One wouldn't kill her.
She turned her head, pushing a strand of blonde hair out of her eyes, before shifting her weight around on the barstool.
"Where are you man," she muttered under her breath, trying to catch sight of her teammate. He should have been at the club by now, and if he wasn't, then it was too late now; the doors had closed. Come on Tim, don't leave me hanging here. In between glances, she would eye a few of the others in the club trying to catch some sign of what was underlying behind the whole club scene. That was until she watched a man join them at the bar. He seemed pretty normal, a little edgier than most of the occupants. Something seemed off, but she let it slide. Until a patron of the bar went flying across the room. To wait for Tim, or not to wait for Tim...that is the question.
She stood up, tossed a few bucks to cover her tab before easing her way towards the figure.
"Nice trick there God," she murmured, hiding any chance of uneasiness smoothly while trying not to start something she wouldn't be able to handle on her own, "Not exactly how I pictured it...Don't think he ever got barfed on and then sent them flying across the room."

Apex was a little impressed with Mia standing up to him so boldly, but that didn't really go far. Apex began shinning with energy enough to light up every dark corner of Club Darksied. As his all clothes burned away (with the exception of his power suit) Apex began to levitate mid-air. He charged his hands with enough energy that they were considerably brighter than the rest of him. Feel God's wrath, Azrael will erase your name from his book this day. A bolt of energy flew towards Mia.
At the same time Apex moved at breakneck speed just to the left of Mia, in case God wished to test his loyal servant by allowing this scum to avoid the blast.

Mia took a deep breath before eyeing her options, which seemed to be absolutly nothing. Way to go Mia...ok, this is gonna suck.
The most intense pain that she'd ever felt in her life creased over her entire body as the bolt hit her straight on. She doubled over, quickly dropping to her knees. Every ounce of energy refocused on trying to stop the pain, keeping her from moving at all. Out of options, she grimaced and ground her teeth together, trying to keep herself awake first and foremost. This hadn't exactly been how she expected to go out; and especially in front of so many people.
